SUUNTO GAMES
12th-13th June, 2010

Suunto Games is one of the most remarkable early summer orienteering event in Finland. It is 12th-13th May. The demanding courses in good terrain, experienced event organisation and 1400 - 1500 runners guarantee its popularity year after year.

Suunto Games has presented to spectators in addition to their own competition exciting experiences with top orienteering (Finnish Top League in 2002 , 2005 and Nordic Meeting in 2003). We believe that exciting moments continue even in 2010.

Competition centre is a new place and all services very near as usually. It is reached by car less than 40 minutes north-west from the centre of Helsinki.

Nearest camping sites are in OITTAA (some 20-30 km from the competition center) and RASTILA (east from Helsinki)

Competitions last two days. In both days all categories have an individual start

All categories are available, Most A-categories have an alternative shorter course. String courses for the young will be available, too.

Courses are middle distance om Saturday and lomg distance on Sunday.

Terrain type is familiar for Suunto Games: demanding small features etc.

Map will be printed in spring 2010

Open orienteering is available in both days. You can select among several different courses.

Cafe, washing facilities, child-care and first aid services are available as usual.
